We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Managers to spearhead our outreach and client engagement in South Africa (Johannesburg & Durban), Nigeria (Lagos), Ghana (Accra), and Tanzania (Dar es Salaam).
Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will lead our expansion efforts across key African cities, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving investor acquisition and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have in-depth market knowledge of these regions, coupled with a strong network of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), institutional investors, and real estate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage HNWIs, investors, brokers, and real estate agents.
- Promote and sell UAE-based real estate investment opportunities to prospective clients.
- Develop and execute market-specific entry and growth strategies for each target city.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and regional partners.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand investor behavior and demand in each region.
- Attend and represent the company at local expos, investment forums, and networking events.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and marketing collateral.
- Provide ongoing feedback to the leadership team regarding market performance, competitor activity, and client needs.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or investor relations, ideally in real estate or financial services.
- Proven success in business development and client engagement in at least one or more of the following cities: Johannesburg, Durban, Lagos, Accra, Dar es Salaam.
- Strong professional network in real estate, investment, or HNWI sectors within the target locations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage cross-border relationships, and meet sales targets.
- Understanding of international property markets and cross-border investments is a strong advantage.
