Position Overview

The Asset Manager will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance and long-term value of a diverse portfolio of real estate assets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, operational oversight, and market knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in financial modeling, leasing strategy, and stakeholder reporting, and must be a native English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute asset management strategies to optimize property performance and value.
  • Monitor property-level financials, including budgets, forecasts, operating statements, and variances.
  • Oversee third-party property managers and leasing teams to ensure operational efficiency and lease-up success.
  • Conduct regular asset reviews, market analyses, and benchmarking to guide performance improvements.
  • Support the development team in transitioning projects from construction to stabilized operations.
  • Work closely with internal finance, legal, and development teams to ensure alignment across departments.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting packages for internal stakeholders, partners, and investors.
  • Identify value-add opportunities, capital improvements, and repositioning strategies for underperforming assets.
  • Assist in acquisition and disposition efforts by providing operational input, due diligence support, and transition planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant market trends, local regulations, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA or MSRE) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, real estate investment, or property operations.
  • Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills (required).
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and Argus (or similar software).
  • Solid understanding of real estate financial metrics, lease structures, and operational KPIs.
  • Experience managing multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use properties is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
