Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost planning, budgeting, contract administration, and ensuring project profitability while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to ensure budgets are maintained.

Tendering and Contract Management:

• Analyze tender submissions and prepare contract documents.
• Evaluate and negotiate contractor and supplier quotations.

Measurement and Valuation:

• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and measurements.
• Value completed work and arrange for payments.

Risk and Value Management:

• Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Optimize project value and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Project Administration:

• Maintain records of all financial aspects of the project.
• Prepare and present detailed reports for clients and stakeholders.

Dispute Resolution:

• Assist in resolving disputes and contractual issues with contractors and clients.

Compliance:

• Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
